May the campaign launched by GEFONT together with International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) including BWI & other GUFs be successful in order to establish labour rights especially in Qatar together with entire Arab world! Let me wish immediate end of modern day slavery against Nepali migrant together with all nationals! Dashain Greetings!
On Oct 07; we have just concluded this years’ World Day for Decent Work (WDDW) and from next week we are entering towards great festival of Nepali culture- the Dashain!
As a festival of reunion, joy and celebration of victory over evils, we Nepali are celebrating Dashain festival. As a major cultural event of entire Nepali, marking this festival the seniors offer bless to juniors and we all exchange best wishes each other.
We are close to next Constituent Assembly election- the general election which re-elects Constituent Assembly-II to write new constitution in order to institutionalise new born federal democratic republic and to ensure our rights based on socio-economic parity.
Along with celebrating this festival, we are maximising this as of the opportunity to campaign for our real representatives. In a time when our working comrades are facing different odds and challenges as the one of the outcome of prolonged political transition, we are expecting the forthcoming election would be helpful to end the chaos & political transition, which eventually ensure conducive atmosphere for economic development, decent employment and political-socio-economic rights.
